Year 2021 was a very important one for Quadia. On 15th March 2021 we opened our first MR diagnostic centre in Piaseczno and shortly after we became the Siemens Healthineers reference site.

Quadia specialises in MR diagnostics of urogenital (prostate, bladder, kidney, testes), abdominal and pelvic area cancers, neurology and cardiology, including the diagnosis of post-COVID-19 complications such as myocarditis.
Since the beginning of our operations in March 2021 we have managed to help many patients and among others, we performed the following examinations:
1 500+ mpMRI of prostate
200+ urogenital MR including MR of bladder and kidneys
100+ MR whole body exams in accordance to OncoRADS guidelines
60+ cardiac MR exams
… but also we:
🏥 were open for a total of 2 536 hours
🧪 used 2 127 vials of MR contrast media
🍱 had 212 team lunches
👩🏻⚕️ hosted 42 clicinal meetings with referring doctors
☕️ drank 22kg of wholegrain coffee
In July we joined the small but elite group of MR centres performing MR guided robotic prostate biopsy and since then we have performed more than 30 such procedures for our patients.
In August we started organising professional courses for urologists „MRI in the diagnosis of prostate cancer – the basic course for urologists”. The courses were being taught in doctor-to-doctor format by dr Magdalena Zagrodzka and other members of the Quadia medical team. Thus far we have organised 8 editions of the course and we are happy to announce that 25 urologists have successfully graduated this very practical, hands-on training.
Doctors from all over Poland attended the course (including Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw, Bydgoszcz, Krosno, Rzeszów, Zielona Góra, Kielce, Radom, Ostrowiec Św., Grodzisk Mazowiecki). We are very gratefull to all participants for visiting our clinic and participating in the course. Thank you!
